I am looking for ammo to purchase, since mooooooost people say Wolf isnt good.
What is a very very good priced brass cased ammo in 7.62x39 FMJ.

I am looking into getting at least 1000 rounds at first, or one of those bulk buys.
I do not want to spend more than $150.

Where am I to look?

My question to you is, what are you doing with the ammo? Target shooting? Plinking? Wolf is spendy but more then fine for an AK. AK's shoot just about anything. I've put over 10,000 rounds of Wolf through my rifle and I have maybe had 3-4 jams. The price sucks though.

Reload your own.

I can reload match grade ammo for about the price of Q3131A or other blasting ammo.

Or for not much more, anyway. And the accuracy I get from my reloads is better than 1/2 MOA.

To me there's just no comparison. I don't buy the cheap stuff. I load up cheap stuff that's FAR
more accurate. It's a no brainer.

My AK eats Wolf like candy......and as another poster said, if you're AK can't take Wolf.....there's really not much to say......a POS AK?

As for my AR, IMHO, all AR's should be able to eat any type of ammo, and function correctly.

Mine .....my AR, at least feeds/loads/shoots Wolf ammo pretty well........after sorting out many problems first: polished ramps, dremeled feedramps into upper, Wolf extractor spring added, new extractor, D-Fender/O-Ring to the extractor spring, and Militec lube, and good cleaning of the gas tube, and using USGI magazines only.

Only failures i get now, are from using my USA 40rd......only as it looks really cool, but that's it!

Wolf is the shit, my man.
If the SHTF I wouldn't be shooting more than 100 yds anyway, not enough difference in accuracy outta my 20" sporter to care.
