are ak-47s accurate for hunting ( just a reason for me to get one)
Can i shoot well crap ammo out of it with out worrying.
How much would i spend if i went to buy one.

Edit: I rather build one because if i did i would know the rifle in side and out what web sites would be good to go to, to get parts.

10 cent SP from Russia is OK for hunting, but Rem and Win make better SP bullets. The cheap SKS and 154gr Wolf are the official deer combo of W Va. In thick woods, 4moa is plenty.

You can buy a decent AK for $350. Depending on tools and skill, you may match that. $120 Romy kit, $75 receiver, US compliance parts (fcg, piston, pg) $75, rivets and paint, ballpark figures rounded up for shipping and ffl transfer.
