You think that Dan is the only importer of ammo from Barnaul?
That would be a big nope... Stuff is landing all the time... about 2-3 containers a month. Just because your store/dealer/whatever doesn't have it... doens't mean its not here. It means your store/dealer/whatever is not buying it... Hope this helps. Y- |

I don't use a local store/ripoff dealer. I search the Net for what I need. Still no luck. Zanders didn't have it either.

Try the Sportsmans guide. They may have some Barnaul in one of its' forms.

I talked to Dan's, and they thought that they'd be getting in another shipment of Barnaul in early Nov, but he could not give a particular date. Have to check back...
Called Zander's and they do not carry Barnaul by that name. All they have is the "Bear" ammunition, which I am not familiar with. I don't think it's the same? |

Ober and I have found the Silver Bear Match, with the funny nipple tip, to shoot the same as Barnaul's regular fmj. SB M is made by Barnaul.

Ahhh, that helps a bit...
If you want the silver cased ammo... and it comes in FMJ/HP/SP its called Silver Bear... If you want the brown cased ammo... and it also comes in FMJ/HP/SP its called Brown Bear... If you want the Gold (brass) cased amoo... and it will come in FMJ/HP/SP its called Golden Bear. Sorry for the mix up. All the above is made by the Barnaul Tool Plant of Barnaul, Russia. And you do not have to wait until November to get it... its in stock and read now at Zander's. Hope this helps, Y- |

Yep, I just picked up some Brown or Bronze Bear FMJ for $80.00 OTD It is definitely made by Barnaul.
