Russian light ball stats; Bullet weight -147.2 grains, powder- long grain extruded weighing 49.0 grains average per case, 10 round string chronograph- high velocity was 2792 fps., low was 2745 fps. with an average of 2771 fps. 10 feet from the muzzle, temperature was 26 degrees, sunny, no wind, altitude is 4865 feet above sea level.
Russian 7N1 was donated by member TNhawk; Bullet weight- 152.6 grains, powder- long grain extruded weighing 47.4 grains average per case, 10 round string chronograph- high velocity was 2738 fps.. low was 2703 fps. with an average of 2721 fps. Same conditions as above
Bullet base and case on the left is the Russian light ball while the bullet base and case on the right is of the Russian 7N1. There are no special markings on the 7N1 to tip you off that its a better grade of ammunition. In my rifle it does out perform any ammunition I've shot through it.
The loaded round on the left is the Russian Light Ball, the one on the right is the 7N1, again, no real difference between the 2.
