I have some Uly HP dated 94.  Internet rumors state that Uly did not start using the 8M3 bullet until 96.  When I compare the 94 stuff to the 96, 97, 08 stuff I cannot tell any difference in jacket thickness, hole diam, nothing.

Does anyone have real knowledge about when the 8M3 bullet was adopted?

If this is not 8M3 I'm selling it while demand is high.

Is there some reason you think that it will not perform as expected?

does it say "effect" on the packaging?  If it does, I'd be inclined to believe it's 8M3.

Just checked some 96 production, the boxes are marked Cal. 7.62x39-8HP LCB. The 95 production shows Cal. 7.62 Hp LCB on the boxes less the -8. Now I am bummed. Those days of $69.00 for 1K are gone forever.  Hope this help you.
