am looking into another conversion....still havent totally decided which caliber....kinda depends on barrel cost and ammo avail/cost

will be gas operated...going to have the barrel turned down to match the 74 barrel

i will keep everyone informed! appears either way that a 74 trunion and bolt carrier/bolt will be used as i think the feedramp will work good and so far one of the calibers fit the 74 mag pretty good but it will only hold like 20 rounds...hopefully all that is needed to convert is a new barrel and bolt(the 74 bolt will have to be opened up some so it cant be reused to convert back)
