During a Udrive build I oversized the front trunion holes.  (the #12 Udrive bites in fairly well but not as good as I feel it should)  I am thinking of using Purple loctite on the remaining Udrives.  or should I fill the holes with weld and redo?

#8's have the head size of standard rivets, #10 look big.  #12 must be huge.  You can weld, but I'm not sure the material will be soft enough afterwards.  This might be the time to consider pulling the barrel.

Pulling the barell, yea maybe.  actually I turn the heads down on my lathe and reshape.  I like the bite that a #12 gives.

Are the #12s big enough to bite into the trunnion rather than the receiver stubs?

Ended up relocating the holes and riveted.  Looks ok.
