did the Romy Friday in 7 hours including the receiver from a flat and demilling. Test fired it saterday and blued the receiver to match today.  I used a product from Birchwood-Casey called permablue.  This stuff ROCKS!!  real nice dark color and matches perfect.  Its a gell you rub in with your finger and has some kind of acid etching going on. in 30 seconds it is black. Re-applied 3 times to get the color uniform, sprayed it down with Brake cleaner to remove any residue and oiled it up.

Did you use gloves when handling the blueing product? Some of them a very poisonous like in terms of they can drop you dead and not like you will get cancer in 20 years.
