 I don't have the correct tools to attach the rails to th inside of the reciever so I was thinking about silver solder.  Has anyone ever tried it ?

 I looked to see if it would be strong enough...Check this out.

 Your input would be appreciated.

I was thinking about it also, until I talked to my friend at the welding shop. He said it wouldn't work. He told me to drill holes and weld them shut with the mig welder...my second choice.

If you can't spot weld them then I would plug weld....There are welders everywhere...
Mig or Tig...Would'nt recomend stick unless a Pro is doing it....
And STAY AWAY from Gas welding....
