Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - question on mixing parts

i've been thinking about a yugo kit.  i was just wondering if i could use a romy front trunion and std AK receiver flat.  or will the front end/barrel not line up with the trunion.  has anyone tried this?

edt:  if it doesn't line up, how much work would it be to "make" it fit.  also is the outside barrel dia. the same between a yugo and romy?

You should be fine. Both barrels shouldbe 23 mm dia at the trunion.
