I noticed on K-VARs website that the barrels that come with the rear site bases are not drilled...for obvious reasons.

How hard is it to drill the base for a pin after you get the right head space.

What size bit.

The pin is 7mm.

Good luck with getting it lined up with the slot in the barrel.  Even though it is properly headspaced by you, does not necessarily mean that the value was the same when it was originally drilled it.  

I am sure someone smarter and with more experience than I, have a better answer for you.  Hopefully.

I can't tell if the barrell is already drill too.
