the front and rear trunnions? Can you weld metal to them and make a receiver? What is the little button at the back end for?

its been done, you have to mill the sides down to fit in the stamped receiver then weld away

btw, the button on the back of the rifle is for holding the dust cover and recoil spring in place when the rifle is used to fire rifle grenades....the recoil would apparantly send all the parts flying without the springloaded locking button....

What kind of kit do you have?  I am looking for a milled kit for a project and I would trade a nice Polish Underfolder or Tantial for a Milled Polish kit.  E-mail me if you have any interest as I have been swamped with work the past couple weeks so I have not been able to hang out much.
