Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Underfolding stock pins

My polish underfolder kit arived missing one of the three pins used with the stock.  What else would work in place of this pin.  I was considering finding a straight punch that closely matches the diameter and cutting it to length.  Would a roll pin be strong enough?  Thanks.

The pins in my Yugos don't seem to be anything special.  I am sure just about anything that fits will work.....

A finishing nail. The butt end of a drill bit. The pins aren't anything special. As long as you get the diameter and length right.

Now that you mention it, there was a small nail included in the bag that didn't seem to belong.  I figured it was dropped into my box from a wooden shipping crate or something.  I'll find something nicer to use in its place.  Thanks guys.
