I see a few options when searching rivets from McMaster.

the two that would apply are:
Low-Strength Plain C1006 Steel   or
18-8 Stainless Steel

I'm guessing i want the plain C1006 steel.   is this correct?

thanks
caspian

I've been ordering and using the 18-8 stainless steel revits, so I am not aware of the other revits mentioned.

have you parkerized a receiver with stainless?  i thought stainless didn't take to parkerization.

thanks

I haven't parkerized any of my receivers.  I basically been using Dupli-Color high temp engine paint to refinish my rifles.  The finish has been wearing off on the high spots, but hey, it adds character to each of the rifles.
