Just threaded my barrel on a SAR-1 I bought a while back.  I don't have the little pin that goes in the front sight post to keep the slant break from turning.  Is this what I need?

muzzle nut pin and spring

Thanks!!!

ok, now that I have the spring and pin.  Do I have to pop the front site pin out to install this?

yes if you can get it out, the pin on my SAR1 would not come out so i got creative with a dremel and modded the pin so i could insert part way turn 180 degrees and then i have a retaining pin.

I couldn't get the pin out on my first attempt last night.  I'll give it a try again but might have to go with your idea.
Thanks
