I WOULD LIKE TO GET OPINIONS ON HEAT TREATING. FROM WHAT I HAVE READ SOME PEOPLE TEMPER AFTER HEAT TREATING AND SOME DO NOT.  I HEAT TREATED A 4130 RECEIVER FROM A FLAT THIS WEEK AND DID NOT TEMPER. I CHECKED THE HARDNESS BEFORE AND AFTER. 26 ROCKWELL BEFORE AND 48 AFTER. I TOOK THE METAL TO ORANGE AND THEN QUENCHED IN WATER. IS 48 ROCKWELL ABOUT RIGHT? THANKS
