Just got in three Romy kits from DPH, and on the first one I looked at the rear sight base is not set square in the rear trunion (twisted clockwise as viewed from the rear).  It appears that the gas block and FSB are in line with the rear sight base.  Anybody else seen this? I'm guessing that it is going to be a pain in the A** to get the barrel pin out.  Thinking that I may have to redrill the barrel and RSB oversize to get it all to line up.  I really don't want to do this, as it'll be a pain to headspace everything.  Should I leave it alone, or realign the barrel?

The site base is probably just crooked.  I think you can just punch out the pins and adjust it.  If I were going to the trouble of building, I would make sure everything was straight.

no, you're right,  one of the kits that I had looked at the rear sight base was visibly off angle to the barrel, yet on that one,that had the easiest pin to press out..FWIW

my brother got one last month that looked perfect, till he put it together, he brought it over for me to look at and see if I could get it to cycle, one look down the reciver and I could see that the entire barrel canted left out of the trunion, did the only thing I could think of doing with out changing trunions, I widened the upper rails and put a lot of slop in the carrier so that it would cycle.
