apparently curtis at ak-builder is not including instructions with the plinker jig like he said he was.

if anyone has a place where i can get instructions (preferably online, and not at the goons network because i can't access it anymore ) i'd really appreciate it, so i don't have a $200 paperweight in my shop.

try funkydiscobeaver(at)cox.net

let's hope my tweaking of the cox craptastic settings works.  lord knows they love filtering for me and not letting me choose what to filter.

If you purchased the jig new, the instructions are on a CD-ROM which is enclosed in a cardboard sleeve.  It almost looks like part of the packaging.

nothing here yet, but depending on size it may take a while for cox to process it.

I believe I have most of the info that was on the CD on here:

www.quarterbore.net/forums/showthread.php?t=161

I can look at my CD and confirm...  I have to be honest I had a bugger of a time figuring out how to use the jig myself and I sort of did it my own way...

You can see my pics on how I used the jig from here:

www.quarterbore.net/forums/showthread.php?t=563

And specifically in this set of images:

Quarterbone I have a question for you.  The link you posted above, the second picture down shows all 3 adapters with no threads. Then in the third picture down it shows the adapter with threads out of the back of the 1 1/2 bar. My question is are the adapters one piece or seprate.  And on Adapter A the plans show a 3/8 drill and tap on the opposite side of the anvil but it is not shown on Adapter B. I was wondering what the hole was for?

Wow... I am too limitited in brain  power to explain this now...  I will see if I can upload the diagrams from the real instructions and describe it from that...  like I said above, I am not sure I know how I am really supposed to use the jig...  But it worked well for me just the same!

The only complaint I have about the plinker's jigs (We have the long rear rivet jig too, which is awsome) is the lack of instructions
