i recently built a romy kit up.  went with a weld build, since i have the shtuff to do it with.  i replaced the oe piston with a tapco piston. now heres where things might be complicated.  i got the ole one out, but i welded the new piston in on the bolt carrier. any big problem with that?

no big deal , the wasr,s from century are welded through the pin hole.
It just wont have any slop to give it some movement
if it has slop it  will have less chance of   jamming up

Probably not. However, FWI, the piston is suposed to be wobly. I've put them in several ways and never had a function problem, so I'm guessing it will work, but try not to do it next time.
