I've started looking into getting or building an AK, but I don't know much about it. If not is thier a kit & receiver that will work together? Also what about the unbent receivers http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=37451553? Any info would help. You will need to buy US compliance parts so there are no more than 10 foreign 'countable' parts left.

That is a good kit because it comes from Bocephus and he is a great guy to deal with.  That kit will work perfectly, and will be legal as long as you get the parts count right.

Get a new piston and Hammer, Trigger and Sear from thedukeryan here on the boards.  I got mine for ~$45 shipped.  then get a brake from brownell's or a few other places that sell the longer romanian slant brakes.
