Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How do I drill a hole??

Bought some plastic handguards. The bottom one does not have the loooong hole drilled thru it like the original wooden one where the cleaning rod goes in it. How do I best drill this incredibly long hole. I really want a cleaning rod with the gun unless someone can suggest a good substitute for SHTF. Thanks

Check out a local hardware stores selection of drill bits, bits do come in longer sizes than you might be used to seeing.

Any large hardware store will have long bits that will work.
