Ok I just finished my 4th build on an aresanal 1 mm receiver These things seem to eat my drill bits has anyone else had this problem.  I have 4 more of their receivers to buold and I am going to go buy more bits to get them done.

Didn't burn through one on a reciever, am I doing something wrong?

you might try using a better grade of drill bit,,,  cobalt bits run at a slow speed with some cutting oil
will cut thru a hardened reciever easy.. I always buy a new bit when starting on a new project..

Drill Doctor 300 and cobalt drills - makes a big difference.

I have done 3 global recievers with the same Harbor Freight drill bits with no problems.
