the diff is in the rails and magwell
you can use a flat to build a 74 cause the magwell is alittle undersized (there will be alittle slop) and the rails arnt installed yet (and are norm alittle oversized) cant use a 100% 47 on a 74 tho without a big pain PS you will also need a 47 rear block |

the 47 and 74 rear blocks have the front holes in diff locations
and the 74 wont fit a predrilled 47 flat

The top holes are in the correct location, the lower holes are not. I just weld up the lower holes and drill new ones. You can build it as is, but you will have two extra holes in your receiver. |

Or plug 'em with two rivets. That works and looks good too. |
