A friend of mine just got in his Yugo kit and found out that was built for a milled receiver.  Can he use a stamped receiver for his build.
Thanks

he can make it work with alot of probs to deal with (or alot of parts to buy)
yugo kits are easy to get tell him to ship it back and buy what he wants (stamped)

you can trim the receiver stub to fit inside a normal receiver... it has been done before on this board.

But good luck getting it straight.  Same on the rear trunion. mill or grind it down to fit inside a receiver. then drill rivet holes, and rivet it. etc.

it's a lot of trouble to go to, but it can be done.

IF the barrle is good, I would KEEP IT

if the barrle is pitted and blackened to hell, send it back for a stamped... IMHO a good yugo barrle is worth the PITA
