Well, here is the first of 2 Rommy kits assembled.  A huge "thank you" to Mr. Socandyman for his help!  Metal was sandblasted, then applied "Must for Rust" phosophoric acid treatment for a quicky park job followed by semi gloss black MolyResin.

Very nice, I've got two of those kits sitting here in my room right now waiting to be put together.  Just curious, I noticed you have the original Romy PG on it, what other compliance parts did you use?

Very nice job!   Ceausescu roll over in your grave!  I know the Romanian kit is one of the least expensive kits available, but don't let that dissuade you from the fact that this kit builds into a very robust and very nice looking rifle.  Good work.

Sudboy

EDITED to add:  How'd you keep the original pistol grip? nevermind....

Thanks for the compliments!  Funny you should mention Ceausescu... I was thinking of naming this one Nicolae and it's twin Elena

I like that finish. Ive only used norrells in flat grayish black but a semi gloss would look more authentic.

Nice work.
