Im going to put my pride on the line an ask if you can install rivets with a torch by heating and then useing a hammer to smack them flat while they are hot.......just asking

you dont have to heat them up to hit with a hammer
they are soft enough to hit with a hammer
only the two long rivets you hit with a hammer the rest you need a press or mod a pair of bolt cutters

on page 2 under build it yourself is a version on how to mod some 24" boltcutters.
I used 36" boltcutters and modified them by useing socandymans post he posted here
but I cant find it maybee someone knows where it is and can point you to it
