Is anyone selling just the wood handguards?  Kvar seems to be out.  How hard is it to cut down a Romanian foregrip to look like a standard handguard?  Whenever I get home I want to build my AMD as a pistol and really don't like the look of that metal piece without the pistol grip on it.

Global Trades lists them on their site. Check auctions and "for sale" forums. Northridge sells a complete EG plastic set.

not hard at all, i did it. i just used a routery rasp in the drill press to shape it
