Sportsman's Guide Russian AK-47 parts kit w/ type 3 fixed stock

I've heard some bad things about Sportsman's guide  before, but this just looks too tempting.

It's a milled receiver.

Well I got mine the other day, think I must have ordered the last or maybe second to the last that they had.  Unfortunately, this kit is so beat to hades that I couldn't even begin to blow the $389 for a threaded, milled, receiver to build it on.  The furniture is beat to death, the barrel and bore are marginal at best.  It's also missing the recoil assembly.  About the only thing going for it is it's a true Russian AK.

So if you're interested keep an eye out, I'm sending this one back, so assuming they have a spare recoil spring and rod to throw in, I'm sure it will be back on the webpage in a week or so.
