Anyone in the North West Chicago/Suburban(ak friendly zone...NOT) area willing to loan me a jig or possibly bend 2 flats for me ? I'm willing to donate $$$ to your shop expense fund. I've bought an 80% and have had fun with it.  I have two more flats that I purchased  and one more kit (amd 65) that I would like to build .

Squad1, I think having someone bend the flat for you would make them a "manufacturer" under ATF rules. Maybe you can find someone that will "help" you bend the flats on their equipment.
Surely there isn't a problem with you doing it yourself on someone else's equipment.

Thx I meant "help me bend the flats". I do have some mechanical skills. I know how some folks get funny about using their tools.
