Is there a trick to getting it out of the bolt carrier? I haven't tried heat yet. Got a US one to replace it. On both of my kits they weeble and wobble but won't come out.

sand off the paint around the end of the carrier until you can see where the piston is pinned at.  Take a drill bit and drill off most the expanded head on one of the pin.  use a punch to drive the pin out driving it from the side you drilled.

I see the pin now. Thanks. Maybe I should just replace the mag followers instead of the piston for compliance parts.
