Getting curious about building an AK and was wondering what tools are needed to build on an AK receiver that has the rails installed, but does not have the trunnion in place.  Also, can you choose caliber by installing a trunnion of desired flavor or are the receivers caliber specific?

Thanks,
Jason

OOW specifies caliber when you order one of their receivers.  The chamber / barrel determines caliber not the trunion.  Also trunion rings battered and fried are quite the treat.

Since you can turn a 74 receiver into a 47 by trimming the ejector, most finished receivers are built as 74's.
