Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - ak47 blueprints / plans

I bought an ak-47 model (for autocad, not a toy model) hoping it would be something I could dimension and end up with a set of profiles to make blueprints from - no dice. The model shows the relationships but the tolerances are not close.

Does anyone have a set of detailed blueprints for a ak-47 receiver? Semi-auto is just fine (no need to have the ATF kicking down my door).

What would really kick butt would be a set of models in CATIA - anyone?
