In the process of building a carbine with a set of Carbon Aramid receivers.....lower is complete, just need bolt assembly and barrel....so far so good. Tested the lower on another upper and all worked great.

I'v built at least 10 ak's on Hesse/Vulcan receivers. While Hesse/Vulcan has a well deserved reputation for piss poor work on complete guns, their completed ak 47 receivers are very good! Their only real problem that I'v come across, is their placement of co. name and serial #. It interfers with the installalation of any rear trunnion other than the wood stock version. Now if they would change that, and get rid of joeken as a dealer, they would rate as excellent in my book.
