Does anyone have experience with these kits with the flat stamped receiver that you bend yourself?
Is it a can do or not worth the hassle? Tj |

Actually there is no requirement for a certain number of U.S. parts, but rather a limit of no more than ten imported parts. U.S. parts are substituted for imported parts to reduce the imported parts count, and to make the rifle complete and functional.
A stamped receiver rifle such as an AMD65 is determined to have sixteen imported named parts, including the muzzle device. Harlan FAC |

reading, not building, says bends are the hardest part so consider a bent metal 80% and use a template to finish
Since the AMD65 needs a 16" bbl, may as well use a longer US muzzle device, US receiver, fcg, gas piston. |
