What’s the best way to harden an Ace receiver blanks?

You just need to harden the hammer and trigger axis pins and the ejector.  Heat up with a MAPP torch (any hardware store will have them) until it is cherry red and a magnet doesn't stick.  Quench in oil or water.  Scuff up the surface and get rid of the discoloration then heat again until blue, then let air dry.  Do one hole and side at a time, it's really easy actually.
