The rear sight leaf on my AK-74 kit is skewed so far to the right, the front sight needs to be pushed all the way right--no rrom for any adjustment left.  I can't tell if the ears on the sight base are out of square or if the holes on the leaf are out.  Anybody else notice this problem?  Replace the rear sight base (big pain in the ass)?  Thanks for any information.

How is the rear sight leaf scewed? A pic would help alot in this case. It may be just that it's not inserted correctly.

Sure it is the rear and not the front sight base being crooked?
Just confirming you are fixing the right end before we type more.
