Hey Junkpicker: I just finished an AMD65 kit using an OOW receiver. It wasn't difficult at all, but I haven't done an AK kit yet.....that's my next project. A frequent poster on this forum; Oldjarheadfart, reallu knows his stuff and he helped me via a few emails. Check with him. I'll be more than happy to help as much as possible. I had a lot of fun building mine and it was my first kit build.

chris,
if you can do a h&k clone, you can do an ak. the only difference is substitute welding for riveting...and the ak can be welded to together if you so desire. drop me an email and i'll shoot you my number. |
