I have ordered a AK-47 parts kit that is complete except for the lower reciever.  Just wanted to know if any of the guys on the board were from Okla and would be able to assist me in this build.

I am waiting on my kit to arrive too, as soon as it comes in I will be sending you a message.
Have you ever built one from a kit before??  I haven't, just kind of nervous about me messing this thing up while I am trying to put it together.
That is awsome that you have the riviting kit, does it press the rivits in??
The kit that I am recieving is supposed to already have the barrel pressed, guess I will see when it arrives.

Check out my page under sports.  I got an AK-74 build going and getting ready to do a polish.

The revit kit does the rivets but the front one need to have the barrel removed.  That can be done with a press kit and a 20 to press.
