the stamped rpk receiver differs from the akm receiver.
first, the rpk receiver ir made from thicker sheet steel stock (1.5mm vs 1mm). secondly, the receiver has pressed bulges in the front sidewalls to accept the reinforcing of the rpk trunnion. currently, a vepr is the source for donar rpk receivers. you might email hesse and see if they are making them. if you buy an rpk kit, make darn sure you know what condition the bbl. is in. many of those kits have shot out bbls.. |

Campy's right I did one a few years back, used a poor romanian RPK, I rolled my own (screwed it together)and campy is right everything is the same except for one extra hole on the front trunnion also the top front of the reciever must be bulged out. I pressed/bent and form fitted. my barrel was shot out and I ended up using the reciever as a model for my pre bents. the original rec. is thicker but, how many times are you going to use it? and watch that barrel sprat |

gun works, stated good condition.. Who knows about the barrels. |
