Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How to attach the pistol grip reinforcement on an UF?

I forgot to spot weld the pistol grip reinforcement plate on a Polish underfolder  before I intalled the rear trunnion.  Any ideas what to do now or just leave it off (I'd really like to use it)?

Suck it up.

Remove trunion. Spotweld plate. Install trunion.

You could use plug welds.

This is what I would do.

Drill a few small holes and plug weld it.

I don't have a spot welder but I have a mig welder. That is how I install my rails.
