Just replaced my FCG, got a nice RRA single stage trigger set off the EE  and it feels 100% better than my Bushmaster trigger felt.  Since it's brand new should I not grease it till the hammer & sear have set a wear pattern?

The reason I ask is my brother has an Eagle Arms and to this day he hasn't used grease, probably barely even gets oil and it's the nicest single stage trigger I've pulled

Honestly ... I use oil  ( Lightly )on my AR/M16 FCG. A quality oil. Breakfree CLP or BreakfreeLP. If I put any grease at all it would only be on the hammerface where the Carrier hits and rides back the hammer to reset it. Cheers WarDawg

Just a drop of oil on the springs, disconnector, and hammer face will be fine.
