Is hoppes 9 safe for chrome line bores? I am talking about the original formula... thanks

Been using Hoppe's #9 on the bores of my weapons for 25 years and have yet to see it harm a barrel.CLP and #9 is all thats been in the bores of my Armalites and I have yet to see an issue with the chrome lining.
Its one of the safest solvents on the market IMHO for the bores.Works as a protectant too,so it will not harm the bore if left for extended amounts of time.
