My otis thread brought up something I hadn't thought about.   What's the best way to clean the lugs and chamber?

Are you talking about the chamber brush?  I had one for awhile and never used it, my brother who has been into AR's alot longer than me said it's not necessary.

I used clp and the long wood Q-tips from Brownell's.  Worked, will add carb cleaner for nastier jobs.

I bought a chamber brush, a steel rod, and a t-handle from Otis just for cleaning the chamber.  The individual part numbers aren't all on their web site, so you may have to call them to get what you need.

+1

Been using their chamber rod/brush for a few months now.
4 or 5 turns followed by a solvent patch, and the chamber and lugs are nice and clean.
