Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How do you get the handguards off a RRA rifle?

My slip ring is so tight that i can't pull it back to remove the handguards with 2 people.Is there a tool or some other magic to get it back far enough so the hand guards can come free?

My A4 was tough, but with two hands I was able to move it.

no problem, but FYI after time and some CLP the tool is not needed. I only use mine any more for the old style slip ring found on m16 and m16a1 uppers.
