I've used Wipeout on my Encore and bolt action rifles.  However, is there a potential problem using it on a gas-operated rifle, like my AR?

I have used it in my AR's w/o problem.
I am assuming that you are worried about it going into gas tube, right?

uafgrad, yes, on the gas tube issue.  I really like the product on my other rifles, but a post on another website forum warned against using it on gas-operated semi-autos.  Thank you very much for replying - your experience is good news for me.

Is this the foam stuff?
Couldn't you just use some of that canned air for cleaning computers to blow it out?  Use the little extension tube to blow it from the receiver out into the bore?
