Picked up a Otis tactical kit today that will clean my 40sw, 9mm, 12gauge, and AR.  Cost around $37 and seems like a nice little kit.  Good choice for all my stuff?

YES!  Mine doesn't have the shotgun option (rifle/pistol only) but I use it all the time instead of a rod.  Much more convenient IMHO, just about the only thing I use a rod and brush for any more is revolver cylinders.  You have made a velly wise choice grasshopper.

i bought mine at a funshow from a really nice rep/dealer and he threw in all sorts of brushes, jags/patch holders, along with some other stuff i will probably never use.

Cool. Looks nice and handy and easy to take along.  I was also considering the cleanbore tactical kit that looks like a trapper keeper and has all the brushes but comes with rods.  I asked one of the salesguys which he prefered and he said sooner or later rods bend or break and the only downside was to the otis was that the .17 caliber was tight but I dont have one so didnt matter.  Good deal I got something good then
