Im not unaware of a MIL-spec dry lube,so I cant help.
But you can use the Mil-comm TW-25B applied at a level 1 application for dry film for sand and dusty conditions.Its approved for use on a few weapons.Works extremely well too. Apply the TW-25B and wipe the surface dry to the touch and it lubes extremely well. Check out the application instructions for more information. www.mil-comm.com/ |

Unless your in real cold or a real dusty location I do not see any plus of using dry lube.

+1 Corrosion protection is compromised for sure. With the TW-25B I run a level II application inside and out for that very reason.Or I wipe the outside down with the MC-2500 oil.As hot and humid as it is here right now I need it too.Im a freakin sweat hog.And boy do my weapons get hot from just the temp and sun. Just returned from the range.Was out blasting the new to me W.German SIG P220.The sun alone had the pistol so hot it was hard to hold it.The TW-25B gets nice when its heated up.Very slick stuff. |

Slip 2000 has also been approved by Military testing to be used in dusty conditions. I feel the Slip 2000 and Mil-Comm(TW25B) are the 2 best lubes on the market today.
