Has anyone here used Militec to lube your rifles with? We just started useing this in my unit and I took my rifle out today and fired it after useing militec on it and the rifle stunk bad after my first several rounds. Is this a natural occurance with this solvent? Just curious...

It's normal,  the heat will make it bond to the metal

It doesn't smell as bad as CLP!

Warning- this stuff does NOT protect against rust.  TW25-B is much better for preventing corrosion.

And Eezox is better still...www.eezox.com

Use eezox outside or in a well-ventilated area. I use FP10. I wouldn’t recommend Miltec at ALL (NO RUST PROTECTION).
