I took rust off of my smith vortex flash suppressor with birchwood casey blue and rust remover.  I got a little on my barrel.  what options do I have.  Can I do it myself or live with it or send it out for professionally reparkarizing?

Thanks

also, is my smith vortex more than ever subject to rust after scrubbing so much on it?

CLP and a little scrubbing with a plastic brush didn't remove the rust?

Birchwood Casey makes a cold blue solution that darkens steel parts. Not an exact match, but it'll work in a pinch.

Brownell's Oxy-Phor is a cold blue that matches park pretty well and it's fairly tough for a cold-blue.
