I am fairly new to AR's, I know with my handguns your not supposed to oil the firing pin.  With the AR, when I clean the bolt carrier assembly and then oil it all up, I know when I put the firing pin back in its gonna get oil all over it, is this bad?

I live right by the ocean and everything will rust unless I oil the crap out of it. Any info would be helpful.

Coat the bolt assembly with a generous amount of CLP, except the bolt face. Coat the bolt recess in the carrier with a generous coat of CLP. Lightly coat the firing pin with CLP. Heavily coat the cam pin with CLP. Coat the bolt carrier with CLP. Put one drop of CLP in the carrier key. HTH
